The PADI Night Diver Specialty teaches you how to safely explore dive sites after dark, improve low-light navigation skills, and discover unique nocturnal marine life. Whether you want to witness bioluminescent creatures, hunting predators, or sleeping reef fish, this course will expand your diving experience beyond daylight hours.

The course also includes a Theoretical Exam (if the student has completed the e-learning it will be a Quick Review with the instructor, if not it will be a comprehensive Knowledge Review and a Quick Exam)

2 Days (3 Night Beach Dives) – Available only during high season (October-April)

PREREQUISITES

• PADI Open Water Diver certification (or equivalent)
• Minimum age: 12 years old

Before your night dives, you’ll complete the PADI Night Diver eLearning module, covering night diving techniques, safety protocols, and marine life behaviors. This prepares you to fully enjoy the experience and focus on in-water skills.

Night dives reveal nocturnal creatures like hunting moray eels, octopuses, bioluminescent plankton, and sleeping parrotfish, offering a completely different perspective on marine life.

Do I need special equipment for night diving?

Yes, a primary dive light, a backup light, and a marker light are required. If you don’t have your own, we provide rental dive lights for the course.

Can I take this course if I’ve never done a night dive before?

Absolutely! This course is designed for first-time night divers, with guided dives to help you feel comfortable and confident in the dark.
