HOW YOUR DIVEMASTER TRAINING WORKS

Real Training Inside a Working Dive Centre

Unlike programs built around a fixed daily timetable, our Divemaster training follows the activities of a real dive operation. You will train alongside our instructors during actual courses and diving trips. Depending on the week, you may assist with Discover Scuba Diving, Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver or other programs running at the dive centre.

This means that every week is different. You will work with students of different experience levels, observe different teaching styles and learn how instructors adapt to different people and situations.

As your skills and confidence improve, you will gradually take on more responsibility. You will learn how to prepare activities, assist students, supervise certified divers, organise groups, conduct briefings and help the diving day run safely and smoothly.

TRAINING ADAPTED TO YOU

Every Divemaster candidate begins the program with a different level of experience.

For this reason, we adapt the training to your needs rather than moving everyone through an identical timetable. If you need additional practice in a particular area, we will spend more time on it. Skills can be repeated until they become natural and consistent.

There is no pressure to complete the program as quickly as possible. Our priority is making sure you leave feeling capable, confident and ready to work as a dive professional.

TRAINING IN DIFFERENT ENVIRONMENTS

Professional divers need to feel comfortable working in more than one environment. During your Divemaster program, you will gain experience across a range of training and diving situations.
