COURSE OVERVIEW

EVERYTHING YOU SHOULD KNOW IN A NUTSHELL

At Pray Dive, we believe real experience builds real Divemasters. That’s why we never rush the process—you’ll get the time, guidance, and hands-on involvement needed to truly grow, assist courses, and lead dives with confidence. The course also includes a Theoretical Exam (if the student has completed the e-learning it will be a Quick Review with the instructor, if not it will be a comprehensive Knowledge Review and a Quick Exam)

DURATION:
4-6 weeks

PREREQUISITES:

  • PADI Rescue Diver certification (or equivalent)

  • Emergency First Response (EFR) certification
    within the last
    24 months

  • Minimum 40 logged dives (60 required to complete the certification)

  • Minimum age: 18 years old or 15 for Junior DiveMaster


INCLUDES:

  • PADI E-Learning to enhance your diving knowledge through self-study and instructor-led sessions
  • Skill and stamina assessments
  • Hands-on leadership experience by assisting instructors and leading dives
  • Diving and access to full equipment rental (if needed)

ABOUT THE BOAT

23.8 METERS DIVING BOAT

A 23.8-meter steel-hulled vessel designed specifically for scuba diving adventures. Powered by twin Diesel HINO engines totaling 620 horsepower, it ensures both reliability and efficiency on the water.

With a breadth of 5.5 meters, the Mermaid comfortably accommodates divers, providing ample space for relaxation and gear preparation.

Operating seven days a week, the Mermaid combines stability, comfort, and performance, delivering an unparalleled diving experience for all aboard.

What is the PADI Divemaster Course?

The PADI Divemaster Course is the first step toward becoming a dive professional. It trains you to lead dives, assist instructors, and manage dive operations, refining your skills and knowledge while gaining real-world diving experience.

he course typically takes 4-6 weeks as an internship or 2 weeks as an intensive program. However, we offer flexible scheduling to fit your needs.

PADI Rescue Diver certification (or equivalent)

You’ll develop leadership, dive theory, and rescue skills while assisting instructors and guiding divers. The course includes:**

Supervised leadership training (guiding dives & assisting instructors).

Having your own equipment is recommended, but we offer full scuba gear rental if needed during training.

Yes! As a certified PADI Divemaster, you can work at dive shops, lead fun dives, assist instructors, and start your diving career worldwide.

The course includes swimming stamina tests, rescue scenarios, and problem-solving exercises, but with proper training and determination, you’ll build the endurance needed to succeed.

The Divemaster certification is the first step toward becoming a PADI Instructor. Once completed, you can enroll in the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC).
