How long does the EFR course take?
The course typically lasts 4 to 6 hours, depending on group size and training depth.
Is the EFR certification required for the PADI Rescue Diver course?
Yes! A valid first aid & CPR certification within the last 24 months is a prerequisite for the PADI Rescue Diver Course. The EFR course fulfills this requirement.
How long is my EFR certification valid?
The EFR certification is valid for 24 months (2 years). After that, we recommend taking an EFR refresher course to keep your skills up to date.
Is there an exam for the EFR course?
Yes, there is one exam (quick review) about the theory of Emergency First Response to be completed online in the PADI eLearning App.
Will I receive a certification card?
Yes! Upon completion, you’ll receive a PADI Emergency First Response certification, recognized worldwide.
What do I need to bring to the course?
